A teak sideboard by Austinsuite, manufactured by Aassenn (Hutton) Ltd. of London, circa 1960s. Austinsuite was a well-regarded British maker of the period, known for clean mid-century lines and consistent construction quality.

The piece has three top drawers fitted with sculpted teak pulls, above four hinged cabinet doors with matching pulls and brass hinges. The center cabinet bays each include one interior shelf; the drawers retain their original fitted cutlery dividers. Maker’s stamp on the interior.

The splayed, arched legs are a recognizable feature of Austinsuite’s sideboard designs from this era. The teak veneer is even in color with strong grain across all exterior surfaces. The top has light surface wear consistent with age and use. All storage functions correctly.
