An unsigned mixed-media work of substantial scale, origin and date unknown. The piece is built from two layers of handmade paper: a coarse, heavily textured outer sheet in taupe-brown forms an irregular border, and a lighter, finer interior sheet carries a dense field of small embedded organic inclusions — seeds or dried plant material — scattered uniformly across the surface. The deckled edges of both sheets are raw and uncut, visible within a cream mat.
Framed in a carved dark wood frame in good condition, with minor wear. The paper itself is intact with no tears. Some aging to the mat.
