Each chair is built around a graceful Beech wood frame, with sweeping curved arms that flow seamlessly into the legs and leather-wrapped armrests that echo the upholstery. The generously proportioned seats and tall, button-tufted backs are upholstered in individual panels of supple black leather, creating subtle variation in tone, texture and sheen throughout. Extremely comfortable sitting.
The contrast between the warm honey-toned wood and deeply patinated black leather gives the pair a particularly handsome, collected quality. Relaxed in profile yet architectural in construction, they have a wonderful presence from every angle and work equally well as fireside lounge chairs, reading chairs, or statement seating in a living room, library or study.
