Fresh finds
A serious lounge chair from Göte Möbler of Sweden, circa 1970s. The Relax II is everything the name promises — a high-backed, generously cushioned chair built around a sculptural bentwood frame that balances comfort with genuine Scandinavian craft.
The tufted leather is well-preserved with all buttons intact, and the bentwood frame is structurally sound throughout. Minor wear appropriate for age.
A well-proportioned compact sideboard record cabinet in teak, Scandinavian origin, circa 1960s. The piece runs two full-width drawers across the top, fitted with distinctive square block pulls in a darker teak. Below, two sliding doors with carved oval pulls open to shelved interiors — two adjustable shelves per bay. Dovetail joinery on the drawers. Tapered cylindrical legs throughout.
The teak shows good, even color across all exterior surfaces. The top has some light surface marks consistent with use over time. Drawers operate smoothly and the sliding doors track without issue. Back panel is unfinished plywood, standard for the period.

A substantial G-Plan Fresco highboard from the 1960s, teak veneer with the range's signature sculpted oval pulls. The upper section is well-divided: a drop-front cocktail cabinet on the left with an interior shelf, a tall enclosed cabinet beside it, a central open display shelf, and a smaller upper cabinet with paired pulls. Below, four drawers — the top fitted with its original cutlery divider — and a right-side cabinet with a single interior shelf. Tapered legs joined by a rear stretcher. Original G-Plan label intact.
Condition notes: some slight discoloration on the front faces and light surface wear throughout. Nothing structural — all drawers and doors function correctly. Drawer liners are new.

A matched pair of Scandinavian lounge chairs, circa 1970s. Dark chocolate brown leather, button-tufted across the back and seat, set on a solid wood plinth base with tapered cylindrical legs. The form is low and wide — proportions typical of Scandinavian seating from this period.
Both chairs are structurally sound. The seat leather shows surface cracking and light scratching consistent with age and use. One seat has a small patch repair — nearly flush and easy to miss, but documented in the photos. Backs, arms, and exterior panels show minimal wear by comparison.
Sold as a pair. Matching sofa is also available for sale as a set.
